Picked up new car today

Featured Replies

Today i became the proud owner of an Octavia vRS TDi PD in black magic with a load of extras. It was an ex demo so there are toys a plenty and i must first of all say that the service at Capitol Skoda is the best i've received when buying a car.

First impressions:

Exterior - Stunning! The 18in alloys really give the car a premium look, and while it's still clean the black paint is gorgeous!

Interior - Stunning! Seats have a real up-market feel to them and the dash is practical, well laid out and again has a real quality feel to it. Small touches like the sunglasses holder and the electric sunroof all add to the fun. Also, the bulging bonet up front makes you feel like you are driving a quality motor. A good bonnet view was something i always missed in the Fabia.

Driving - Engine pulls hard and when on the move, i would say it is faster than the Fabia. The steering is heavy but i like it. It grips well though a bit less body roll would be nice.

To sum it up i am well chuffed with it and i am already addicted to driving it.

I just hope the Fabia, which was my pride and joy, will go to a good home.

It's always good to hear someone enjoying their car

Sort out the body roll with a rear anti roll bar… then get a remap, and the car will be even better

Sounds like a nice car

Enjoy it mate

Cheers

Damian

P.S. you've missed out the sunroof you mentioned from your signature spec
