Just need to pick someone's brains here. I had the common engine light & stuttering last night and called out Skoda Assist. Fair play as they were very quick and had a coil pack on board. However, as so often happens, the problem had cured itself by the time he arrived and as a precaution he left me with a coil pack 'just in case'. Good job as on a test drive later with spirited driving:D, the problem happened again. I popped the new coil pack in and all seems good now....

However, I had the old update from Skoda on my laptop and the codes they gave out don't match up with either the coil pack I took off or the new one from the technician. The one that came off is O6B 905 115N and the replacement ends in R.

I was wondering if any of you techies knew what's what with the codes?

p.s. It's the first coil pack to go and they have been on from new.

R is the latest one. I had L and N on mine but just changed over to Hitachi bolt down ones today

Just wondering, where can the R revision ones be bought? I'm struggling to find anywhere online that sells them. I'm expecting a remap to kill my existing coil packs!

If you buy from Skoda they should be R or you can look for the Hitachi Bolt downs
