Im thinking about having my 18 inch alloys refurbished as there is a fair amount of kerbing on them (previous owner) but if i get them done im also thinking about having them coloured white.

I think white alloys would suit a race blue vRS but would just like to get peoples opinions before i decide to go ahead.

Is anyone good with a paint package that could do a mockup pic to help me decide?

I can't help you with the pics, but I can advise you as a white wheel owner. I used to own a Citroen C2 GT and it had white alloys as standard. When clean, they looked amazing. However, it took a lot of cleaning and polishing to keep them that way. If you like cleaning then go for it.

they will look ace but can say you will have to clean them everyday anhd i mean everyday.... i know as i had mine powdercoated white and all i do is clean clean and clean they are a complete pain in the **** but look so good when clean if dirty they look crap imo

I'm also interested to know if anyone has any suggestions on companies which refurbish and colour alloys.

I've had a quote from The Wheel Specialist for a full refurbishment, strip refit and balance with a gloss white finish at 300.00 + VAT

This seems quite expensive so im obviously interested to find cheaper.
