vrs engine upgrades

Featured Replies

I have just bought a second hand 03 plate vrs its has an induction kit on the car but i have had various people in the car who say the turbo and waste gate valve are louder then other vrs they have been in it stil has the standard bosch vavle on it. how do i find out if the car has had a remap or other mods as the skoda dealership havent a clue.please help

The induction kit will make the wastegate far louder than a standard car but the ways to detect a remap are to find a specialist who can search certain parts of the ECU coding or to use the bum dyno that we all have as standard :D

boost gauge would help standard is about 7psi i thin mapped would be alot more.....

and yours will be louder with induction kit on....

Does it make you smile, or leave you wanting? That will be the difference between a mapped car

or a standard one :)

Maps only leave ou smiling for a couple of weeks. Once your used to them, they become normal. If you want to get scared again though, you just get the wife to drive!

Very true. Enough is never enough. I always want more.
