Just got the car back from having the damage repaired, Can i just wash and protect the paint work as usual or do i have take care for a while.:confused:

i mean can i just jump in with polish and wax or should i just wash it a few times before i seal it? I'm thinking of spending most of sunday on cleaning the car, clay the car and then use megs 3 step on it.

Oooh , take care near new paint

Within reason a polish would have been done

But give it a while before a good buff

I was told similar when my rear bumper was resprayed last year, stick with a normal wash for a month then you can polish it. One year on and I've still not polished it yet Still, I intend to book a couple of days off work at the end of the summer to work my magic once again on it's bodywork.
