Featured Replies

For some reason it feels like my car has lost all turbo boost??

It now feels like I am driving a standard 1.8 yet there is no warning light on the dash and my dump valve still sounds normal!

Can anyone help as I am really puzzled

boost hose come off somewhere?? check the one that attaches to to intercooler to pancake pipe..

if the turbo was fecked you would struggle to go above 50mph i know lol and will sound like a fighter jet taking off lol

it sounds like just a pipe has come off buddy

Cheers mate, it will go above 50mph and will still do atleast 80mph

Where abouts are the intercoolers on these?

And is the pipe easy enough to see and get to?

drivers side just infront of the wheel...if you look behind the wheel on the drivers side you will see a squashed pipe ( pankcake pipe ) its the hose on the end of that can pop off...

how does the car sound when driving??

Normal to be honest mate, does not sound any different!

MAF maybe ???

Try unplugging it and see if it runs better

Ok now I am going to sound really stupid but is that the sensor on the air intake??

yep its just after the air box

Could be in limp mode induced by 17705 error code. That limits boost to 5psi, and the car feels so slow! You can still get to 100mph but it takes ages!

If you turn the engine off and back on again, does the car feel normal again sometimes?

This happened to me, and it was a simple case of cleaning the TB and resetting the error code.
