Thanks to one of the more mature users of our road network with eyesight so bad that pressing his nose against the windscreen seemed to help, I've just had to dive out of the way and clipped a kerb quite badly in the process. I've ended up with two spokes scraped, and about 6" of flattened edge along the rim.

Swearing? Lots.

Does anyone know of any decent wheel refurb places in Leicestershire, and approximately how much they charge? There were a couple of scuffs already on the rims when I picked it up, so it might be a good time to get the lot sorted.

I know that Unit 18 have had wheels done somewhere in/near Leicester but it could be trade only. It would certainly be worth dropping Lummox a PM and asking. The ones I saw were painted and the finish looked pretty good although admittedly Baker21 had been at work on them so you'd expect that. If you look at the pictures of Lummox's vRS-alike estate the S3 alloys on that are the ones I'm talking about.
