Dealer ARB supply and fit

Featured Replies

To save hassle i have booked my octavia in for front knocking noise (ARB's) and rear wiper not working. i know you probably wont know a definiate answer, but does anyone have a rough idea on price? or does anyone know Skoda's hourly rate?

cheers

Rear wiper could be anything – relay? motor?

When mine got stuck on and then just stopped in the middle of the windscreen I thought I'd need a new wiper motor, but I got into the mechanism and gave it a clean, greased/oiled it all up and it's been fine since

Make sure Skoda don't just say, "Needs a new motor" or anything else big.

Have a go yourself first :D

I think your ARBs are a trickier job (2-3 hours?) and a Skoda garage will charge £50-£70 per hour excl. VAT. I could be wrong, but better to expect the worse and get a pleasant surprise, than get a nasty shock

well my rear wiper works, just not the washer so i'm assuming its blocked/pipe split. but i thought while it was in there, get them to do it.

ok thanks mate, i'll tell them to ring me before they do anything to it anyway.
