AC and radio problem

Featured Replies

I have a very unusual problem. The outside temperature on the AC unit of my 2006 Superb intermittently does not display a reading. It shows --C. When this happens the volume on the radio/cd decreases. Once the AC unit again begins to display the ouside temperature, the volume on the radio returns to its previous level.

Any ideas on why this may be happening?

All I can add to this is the maxidot can be a funny old thing, I've had it showing me as a Sharan on occasion, and also it goes Euro on me with readings, you could have a fault in the climate unit, these are known to be faulty, but I suspect if you leave it a while it will clear itself.

Thanks for your reply. Hopefully, as you say, it will clear itself.
