I have recently bought Octavia (1999) and I am not able to control

the wiper speed and how many times it should wipe. I have played

with the settings but can't figure it out. I know it has three different

speeds so I can push the wiper control through the three levels.

But I am not able to change how many times it should wipe. When

I put it on, it can continue wiping for a long time eventhough I have

switched it off.

Can anyone help me on how to change the settings?

Hi Fred,

Assuming the wipers are working OK, the different positions change the time between wipes and only then when the wipers are set to intermittant. Pushing the stalk up to highest position selects fast wipers.
