A productive morning thanks to Briskoda!

Just had a productive morning with my newly acquired 05 Fabia vRS.

First job was to fit a Connects2 iPod integration box - this was thanks to positive reviews and some handy pics I found here (and also due to my old Belkin Tunecast being worse than useless in the Fab). This went pretty smoothly other than not initially realising I needed to earth the Connects2 box (used one of the torx screws on the side of the radio to secure the black earth cable). Oh, and it was a bit of a wriggle getting the box buried deep enough in the dash to allow the radio to refit!

Second job was to perform the much talked about 'ventectomy'. I do about 500-600 miles a week so the extra diesel capacity will come in handy. Again this went super smoothly and was even easier than I thought, and even better, I didn't drop anything into my fuel tank during the process.

Big thanks to all of you who've posted on these subjects in the past for giving me the kahunas to attempt this in the space of an hour
