hey guys!

having a bit of a prob with the car! its a bit intermittent but its annoying!

when changing gear i can go 3rd,4th,5th,6th perfectly normally

but sometimes when changing down from 6th to 5th it just wont move further than the neutral position! and to get it into 5th i have to (with the clutch down of course) move it to 4th then back to 5th and it'll move into position fine!

weird stuff?

any ideas peeps? im thinking maybe a bush has slipped?

like i said its a bit intermittant as sometimes it'll go into 5th fine as long as your quite gentle doing it but then again soemtimes it just wont go at all!

it sounds like the gearbox linkages are slightly out of adjustment.

i hope so as that seems a simple fix! prob could be sorted at the same time as the adding of a B&M shortshifter!
