Hi, after having a new head unit i am now trying to wire in my amp in the boot of my mk1 furby. I have the car in pieces atm trying to wire it in, ive got the power cable through the bulkhead and passed down the side of the car (passenger) underneath the plastic moulding thats next to the footwell/door seal. However, i am trying to wire in two sets of phono cables to the boot down the otherside of the car. I have managed to get them from the glovebox (where my "brain" unit is) out the back, through the centre plastic up kinda above the pedals, along the back of the dash, but now need to thread them down behing the bonnet release then underneath the petrol/boot relase buttons/plastics and cant get these plastics off to do this.

Anway basically i need some help if you manage to read and understand that, it would also be good to have a guide on how to do this somewhere? Or where the best place to run the cables is at least.

I found it easier to go down the centre a bit more then move across under the seats, if you get it right it shouldn't be noticeable and not impair seat movement.

Is yours passenger or driver side? would that be underneath the carpet then? how easy is pulling up the carpet and replacing it?

drivers side, I didn't touch the carpets. literally down through the central bit. under the drivers seat, then down the right trim.
