New Owner - VRS Limited Ed Estate

Featured Replies

Hi All

I am new to all this Skoda ownership having just part ex a scooby in for the a new VRS LE TDI estate car.

A few questions, as i really seem to be confusing myself going through the forum and trying to find the answers - seems to be so many variants ;o)

1/ On the Bolero Stereo system, how do you get a true IPOD connection (rather than using the aux) i see there is a MDI cable but where is the best place to buy and how easy is it to fit in regards to getting to back of steroe etc.

2/ On the Maxidot display (i presume i have this) i see people talking about various options and menus tbh i only seem to have fuel figures and speed/trip info. It maybe all i am limited too - but wasnt sure if you get radion info on there etc ?

3/ Is it possible to get the iPhone to bluetooth connect to the radio, and what extras will i need to complete this, is a MFSW necessary ?

Finally ....

4/ I was looking at getting a detachable towbar fitted, anyone got any recommendations in the new forest area.

Sorry for some pretty dumb questions, have to admit i really like the car in the first 80 miles ;o)

Regards

Jas

Press and hold the button on the end of the windscreen wiper control stalk to access the maxidot menus

Ouch not exactly what you want to happen, hope they had insurance. Make sure they pay for a proper approved bodyshop and any courtesy vehicles (of a decent standard). Any stiff necks etc, if so see a Dr and claim for that as well.
