Been an bought a new Octavia.

After much soul searching, deep thought & headaches, number crunching etc, I've have just popped over to Garland Motors and ordered a:

I think I got quite a good deal on it at a £17,649 OTR inc 12 months tax and this car is also going to save me a nice £25 pcm on my existing loan, which will of course be paid off.

As you can see after much umming & arring I've gone for the 7-speed DSG box because of the leg problem, it was a tough choice but I think it'll be a more sensible option in the long run.

Now all I have to do is wait until late November/December for it. :orb_cool:

That nice deep dark metallic one, I must admit I nearly chose the dark metallic red one, the one I'd describe as burgundy, I think they call it Rosso Brunello, but stuck with the deep blue instead.

Have you specced the cream coloured interior with that..........its a great colour combo.

I chose Onyx, because I have to on rare occasions take our dog out, so dark colour will hide the dirt a bit, although normally the back seat is duly covered with polythene, then an old duvet & a waterproof cover as well to ensure that any mud and water doesn't get anywhere near the upholstery.

I agree simbo99, don't you just hate it when you spend silly money on a metallic box with 4 wheels in each corner. :crazy:

Congratulations, a very good choice and spec.. Nice colour, although, in my non biased opinion, only Arctic Green beats it The 7 speed DSG is a real delight.

November/December will soon arrive, in the meantime keep taking the 'patience' pills.
