Featured Replies

Hi does antone know how much for a set of rear discs for mk1 vrs.

Cheers

GSF should have it on there website.

I got mine off a chap on ebay.

Just one more question, are the standard VRS rear discs solid or vented, because mine are vented, but when I was on the phone tonight they were trying to tell me I had solid ones.

They are vented, 256mm in diameter and 22mm thick.

Thanks are they the same as R32 or Audi S3?

If we are talking MK4 R32 and MK1 S3 then yes.

Thanks for your help

Please let us know what you end up buying and how much as I need some too. I have got brembo plain discs on the front and these have the hub area and the edge of the discs painted so they don't corrode. I'm not sure if Brembo make any replacements for the rears though.

They are vented, 256mm in diameter and 22mm thick.

Spot on:thumbup:, I bought a pair from Audi main dealer in Feb this year :-

8N0 - 615 - 601 B ( also painted silver) @ £41.31 each plus vat (total £95.01)

Not the cheapest I know :D

Got EBC standard disc all round on my vRS fitted with GreenStuff pads.

EBC parts get a mixture of good and bad reviews, but I have had no problems with them and they are a little cheaper than SKODA standard replacement.

The rears were £63.22 delivered. (Goto EBCBrakesDirect.com and enter code SCOOBY58 to get 15% off)

I think they are are about £40 for the pair from GSF. I bought my Zimmerman rear discs from GSF and they've been fine.

I'm also running the Brembo discs from GSF up front which are fantastic, shame they don't make the rear ones too.
