Reccomendations on springs for fabia1 1.4mpi

Featured Replies

Hi this is my first post so i apologise if its in the wrong area or someones already asked a similar question

i have a 2000 fabia1 classic 1.4 mpi purely as its the best one i could afford to insure

it has a cold air induction kit and performance spark plugs to help it be slow rather than a snail and a silly exhaust that makes a racket as it was only 30quid :p

my suspension on the otherhand seems to be just slightly out of line as the near side front spring was replaced 2 years before i bought it and the other one was broken when i bought it so i took it to the garage and they said they would replace both and then just did the one

seening as the two sides are different brands theyre slightly different lengths so i thought i might aswell change all the springs and maybe lower it a little while im at it

i believe 30mm or so is a fair lower without the need for changing the dampers etc and without damaging ride comfort too much...would anyone care to share their opinions and expertise?

thanks

The H&R and Eibach Pro's are both really good choices and both lower 30mm.
