Octavia vrs seats

Featured Replies

Hey guys ,

Dont know if this should be in the styling and car care or in here as its a octy issue (if so please move it modders)

But the seats in my octavia are in great shape but have just started to lose a bit colour to the leather on the drivers side bolster. i had someone reccomened using shoe polish but im unsure on this one. any recommendations are greatly recieved.

cheers

Don't use shoe polish; it will come off on your clothes (or more likely SWMBO's favourite uncleanable designer outfit).

Use proper leather upholstery cleaners, preferably ones formulated for in-car use, because car interiors take more hot and cold stick than furniture does.

:iagree:i did mine at the weekend,i used autoglym leather conditioner!

But a cleaner/conditioner will not restore the colour you need a kit off a supplier as above

i use liquid shoe polish, let it dry/soak in for a while then wipe over it with a bit of leather care cream/cleaner etc to remove any residue ,works a treat on my couch and my motor bike leathers and my interior all look like new still lol:thumbup:
