engine warning light on

Featured Replies

I went to see a skoda superb elegance 56 reg yesterday and I noticed that when the ignition key is in position 2 the engine warning light is on ,although when I started up the car it was gone.the car dealer said that once the car is started up and the light is off everything is OK.

for me that's a bit strange because I have skoda superb and the warning light It's not on when the key is in position 2, it's there only for 2 or 3 seconds with other lights

doea anyone know if that's nothing to worry about or it may mean a problem

Only worry if it stays on when it's running, it's probably different software, do both have the same engine?

Plus a 56 might be a facelift model, does it have white clocks?

seen this in other cars, as long as the light goes out i should be ok
