Can anyone say for deffo what offset i need to be looking for on the octy vRS ?

i've been looking at either RS4 or RS6 reps and 2 different wheel firms to them in 2 different offsets.

i know the PCD has to be 100 and they are obviously a 5 stud pattern but are they ET30 or ET35 for the offset ?

the car wont be lowered for a bit (doesnt really bother me for now) but i dont want any rubbage when on full lock etc.

Cheers peeps.

I believe it's ET35....sure someone will confirm or otherwise. ;)

If you lower the car too much you'll get rub on the inside of the arch liner, i.e closest part to the engine bay, on full lock. Also on the edge nearest to the outside of the arch.

I also wonder whether having 225 width tyres contribute to this. Perhaps 215s would be a better compromise.

If youre considering larger discs & callipers in the future also bear that in mind, its suprising the number of people who buy wheels only to find out the spokes hit the callipers

Nigel,

I have just fitted rs6 reps on my octavia they are ET35 and fitted with no problems without rubbing even with a full load and 5 people!
