Booked car (2ltr. 140bhp) in for 2nd service 35,000 miles.

Advised that it is recommended that the DSG gear oil is changed at 40,000 miles.

This would be at a cost of £147.00 on top of the service at £159.00.

You read it right £147.00.

Anyone else experienced this?

If not done what happens to any warrenty claim?

Does your service book tell you its due? If not, then does'nt NEED to be done, but you could have it done at an indy.
