Leather interior from a VW..?

Featured Replies

I was at my local dealer for used car parts the other day, and came accros a black leather interior from a 2005 VW Passat, i suddenly had the idea that maybe it would fit in my 2005 Octy.

Of course the door panels will not fit, but it wouldn´t surprise me if the front seats fits just fine, with af litle adjustment to the wiring underneath the seat, nothing i cant handle with a soldiring iron. ;)

But then its the question of the back seats, are the mounting brackets in the same spot and so on..

Leather interior for retrofit is imposible to come bye in Denmark for the Octy, and i dont like the comfort in the VRS seats you can buy at skodateile.cz soe that is not an option. Getting my current seats fitted with leather is also very very expensive..

my factory seats in onyx color and textile fabric are ok, but i wouldnt mind them being softer, plus leather seats would look great..

Do anyone have any experience in something like this, or maybe on opinion on this..:D

The Passat uses a totally different seat mounting system to the Octavia (it is also wider) so they won't fit.
