PC2-04-4 Harness & PC5-52 Antenna Adaptor

Featured Replies

Hi people, :)

I've got the above to connect my Pioneer headunit to the Fabia, I'm just confused as to what you have to do with the antenna adaptor's blue lead that runs from it?

I haven't yet looked at the behind the dash as I don't have the car until tomorrow hopefully but I'm just looking at these items confused! I understand the harness (that's obvious! ) but not the antenna adaptor. The antenna connections look straightforward but I don't understand what you do with the blue lead?

I was told initially to get the PC2-69-4 but then told that was for Fabia's -> Mar 03? I was told to get the PC2-04-4 with the PC5-52 antenna adaptor for Fabia's Mar 03 ->...

Can anybody help, it'd be much appreciated... :o

Thanks in advance,

Liam. ;)

I didnt bother with the adaptor loom, the Pioneer conects straight up and seems to work just fine, the adapter loom doesnt seem to do anything, its an iso to iso connector.

The blue wire on the antenna amp I connected to the power aerial wire on the Pioneer loom iirc, either that or the amp remote wire.

That's great Ross, makes sense now... thanks.

As ross said, the pioneer will connect direct to the skoda iso connectors, the PC2-04-4 only swaps the permanant live and switched live positions but this can be done on the pioneer loom on the red and yellow wires just swap them at the bullet connectors in line and the aerial booster just connects to the blue/white wire on the pioneer just leave the blue/white wires bullet connectors seperated and join the blue from the aerial booster to the radio side of the loom

Right, makes even more sense... I've got cables all over the place! Reading the replies, then looking at the cables - working it out...

Thanks to both of you. ;)
