Hello everyone, sorry to sound stupid here but i'm going to ask anyway!

Did any Octy mk2 vrs tdi pds (pre-facelift) come with a day running light facility in-built?

If they did, was it an option or can you get it activated via Vagcom etc?

Was thinking of getting/enabling this facility because I do a lot of motorway driving

and i'm sick of numptys and morons trying hit me when they cut me up! Presumably because they can't see me!

By the way, i am a safe driver!

Any ideas what it would cost by my local dealer to get it set up?

Hiya Mike, sorry i've not got back to you. That's a very kind offer from you but having thought about the lights over the weekend, i think i'm going to keep it in standard 'uk' mode.

if you dont have drl lights on the car you can activate the volvo look by ticking scandinavian lights setting or have front lights on only by selecting north american setting which only have front lights on when engine is running and handbrake is off.
