What are a set of 17" Spiders with good tyres but in need of a refurb worth?

I didn't want to put this in Octavia I as it'd look like an advert.

I've got a set but I'm short of money all of a sudden (Don't ask! )

Just wondering, they could well be up for sale given the right offer.

Strange as it seems , they would be easier to sell without tyres.

With tyres on you are aiming at people with lower spec octavias wanting an upgrade to the VRS look which isn't all that common.

On the other hand without tyres (octy tyres are the wrong size) they will appeal to Fabia VRS owners wanting a size upgrade.from the standard 16s and there's a hell of a lot more of them.

And what's this I read about you getting a roll cage?! I have been looking about Recaro Pole Position seats

I sold mine through this site on Saturday for £220. They ideally need a refurb and tyres had 3-4mm all round.

If all goes to plan next year my car will be my track/ weekend slag. If I take up welding I would love a roll cage.

I do have acess to loads of 1" stainless steel pipe.
