Hello all! I have been having a few problems with my Mk1 octy (about 2 grands worth of problems!) so thinking of trading it in for a mk2.

What kind of Problems do these cars have?

Also I had noticed that some have green calipers and some have red, any reason for this?

Skoda changed from Green to Red callipers late in 2005, no one really knows the reason why but I suspect VAG got a really good deal on the red stuff

........... so if you find a car on a 06/56 plate with green callipers you'll know it's an 05 build year car that a dealer has had trouble shifting out of the car pound

Ah i wondered if it would be something like that. So do the Mk2's have any "common faults" as my mk1 has had everything go wrong with it.... and some.
