ive had my octavia II about 10 months and recently noticed that when i turn the engine off - there is a loud whiring noise. it stays at the same level for about ten seconds after ive turned engine off. ive taken it to the dealer and they have said it is normal for the a/c fan to make this noise - but if thats the case i'm wondering why i've only just noticed it

I think its normal, the cooling fan does run on after the engine is switched off for a period of time.
