Hey guys, does anyone here have the ability to increase the engine idle RPM on a Fabia VRS using VAG-COM? Cheers and how much will it cost nd where you located? :-) cheers guys.

The power drops off at the top, so more revs surely will give even less power?

Have you had a remap? I thought that when mapping the rev limit could be moved?

Buy a petrol if you want revs.

Diesels shouldnt be revved hard, hense all the low down power.

I want mine set to 1100 so the SMF doesn't vibrate & rattle the car to bits. Going to be asking for that to be done when my next mapping session takes place. I'm going to be asking for a lot....

I don't know about increasing RPM but with some costome Remaps you can change where the peak power is.

I've added "tickover" into the thread title to prevent any more confusion

i know you can increase "tickover" speed on the vas 5051b which we use at work but not sure about vagcom i would think it possible if you can get the correct info from rosstech

Pikey mod? Ever so slightly move the accelerators resting position? Cable ties, is there anthing you cant use them for?

I can do this/ have done this on mine when I had a dogbone mount in

You can do it on channel 2.

But it will only increase it a small amount.
