  1. I saw this morning F3nda ie Fender on an old Land Rover (110) defender. The V8 sounded nice as it pulled away from the petrol station.

    Dull things.

I don't know if this thread is inspired by it, but I get posts on my newsfeed from 'Dull Men's Club' on Facebook. As you might expect there are plenty of Dull posts on there, although some can be quite interesting. It is tradition on there at the end of your post to state you age, height, shoe size and some dull fact about yourself. https://www.facebook.com/groups/dullmensclub
  3. Is that the famous Rufford Ford, as seen on many Youtube vids?
  4. Blame these Guys The bridge hasn't worked since 2019, however due to extra money gained from HS2, the good new is next year hopefully it will be repaired, made structurally sound and then hopefully back working again.
  5. I've been wanting to take a good pic for the last few weeks and going to the same place on the way home from work. Finally on Friday the perfect conditions happened. I meant to stick a camera and tripod in the car in case, but kept forgetting, so pic took with my phone. I thought it turned out quite well. 😎 Image not edited, apart from a slight crop. I can't remember if phone was set to 'sunset mode' or not as took many pics using auto and manual modes. Dec 15 Fri, 4:03 PM GMT Motorola Moto g(8) power ƒ/1.7 1/ 33 sec 4.05mm ISO436
  6. I couldn't see any livery on the van, but It was dark and on a dark coloured van.
  7. BE37 BUY ie, Best Buy on a Merc van tonight.
  8. You could try Longstone tyres which stock new old stock tyres for classic cars. https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk
  9. Can anyone find or tell me where to get a new voice from? Mine has decided to desert me for the last few days. The way I'm feeling, at the moment, I don't think I'll leave this warm cosy bed all weekend!
  10. This one? https://metro.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/quid-igitur-dubitamus/ I've always wanted to see it, but the two times I've been to Gaydon (Brisky National meets) the car hasn't been there. ☹️ I have always said the best stealth sleeper car would be a Maestro or Montego 6R4 as they are longer and wider than a metro. 😎 The article is slightly wrong, 6R4 means 6 cylinder Rally 4wd as it has a mid engine, not rear.
  11. I know we are going off topic to Porsches, but they have been building brand new mk1 and mk2 Escorts for several years now. However, they are in development in producing a brand new Metro 6R4 in the next year or so. I think I've read it will will have a Audi derived engine, not a Rover V64V. https://mst-cars.com/6r4
  12. Is it just me, but has YouTube put more and more adverts into their videos over the last week or so? I know last week they stopped the use of ad-blockers on their site, which may be the reason. I use Opera browser which has an ad-blocker so had to change the settings to allow them. It's annoying as a lot of them you can't skip,
  13. All the 4s I was slightly annoyed when the fuel consumption had dropped a bit. 44.4mpg would have looked better.
  14. Cannonball Run, and possibly it's sequel. The Italian Job (original, of course).
