VW promises better servicing

Featured Replies

Sounds interesting at least from the article, If it proves to be worthwhile and becomes popular then I can't see why VW would not extend it to the whole group.

Very nice but I could do without the free wash and scratch

The free bulb changing I think sounds interesting for some cars. I bet they are £19 each though!

James.

I don't care for the wash, what I want is more sensible pricing on the cost of an oil change service and a decent response when something fails due to poor quality or design.

I have a VW and skoda dealer local to me and a good indy that uses genuine parts, so I will see if they will match the price for a cambelt change or not.

The ford I use now does all oil change services at £99 + Major service items where applicable.

My 2nd 25k service would have been nearly £300 under the old scheme - which is why I dont use my local Ford less than 1 mile away.

Plus keeps the boss sweet when the credit card bill comes in.
