Big Thanks to Jabbasport & Wings Skoda Peterborough

Guys, - The only reason I own 2 Octy VRS (thankfully financed by my employer) is that they are 4 door (company rules), quick and practical. Running costs are higher than I'd like (being a Northerner) but fair. And the fact that good people are available to look after them. The recent suspected diff whine was questioned by both Jabbasport and Wings Skoda in Peterborough. Both thought a second opinion advisable, and both are consumate professionals. Wings nailed it to a CV joint full of grit & grease, after checking wheel bearings & brakes. Two technicians (Ian & Paul) spent most of the day sorting this for £130. Fair play.

The last time I heard a similar noise was south of Paris on an RG 500 with a finger over the clutch. See "large capacity two stroke motorcycles" for that one.....

Next car? MK2 VRS from Wings (do something special for me please, chaps) with a remap from Jabbasport.

Seriously - I feel well looked after. And given that I am a direct descendant of Leslie Philips, then I have only the following to say of Carol (Jabbasport) and Sam (Wings). Ding dong - I say!!!

And I could have bought a 3 series Beemer! Aaarggh!
