Problem

Featured Replies

Hi, Has anyone had a problem on a 2008 octavia mk2 with a clicking noise coming from behind the dashboard,it does not happen every day but when it does it lasts for a minute or so then goes off.

Cheers for any info.

Clicking noises from the climatronic system are common.

It normally happens when you first switch the car on.

I guess it is the climatronic adjusting itself to the required new settings as the car/outside temperature are now different to the last time that the car was used.

Thanks for replys but unsure about climatronic control as it happens when car has been driven for various amounts of time both short/long runs

Mine was the same . My only conclusion was the CLIMATE CONTROL:confused:. mine usually did it whilst waiting at traffic lights and it did'nt really make any difference how long the car had been running. I must admit it was annoyin once I knew it was there.

But the good news is my new FL octy doesn't do it. So I guess they've solved the problem.:D

Cheers

Chris

yeah - mine does the same - i put it down to climate control as well.

No long term affects 18 months into ownership... yet!
