my apoligies

Just before your thread gets moved to the Superb section, a 1.4 in a car that heavy will not exactly be a 'spirited' drive - it will struggle. If you need one that's cheap enough to run get the 1.9 TDI if you can stretch to it. I imagine the 1.4 will be dirt cheap but for a reason.

1.4TSI is much better than 1.9TDI .

If you find the 1.4 TSI questionable then ask about the greenline first.

Afaik the Passat has been (is?) sold with the 102 PS 1,6 l :D

NOTHING that weighs 1500KG is going to be great with a 1.4TSi - read the latest copy of Autocar on the new Superb Herse................
