Palm Pre vs iPhone

Featured Replies

Anyone have any views on the new Palm Pre and how it would compare to the iPhone?

Not sure I need many of the features, but business has been good and I think I'm going to reward myself with a new phone and wondered what peoples views are, particularly on the Pre.

It's cheaper than the iPhone but apart from that I'm not sure how it compares.

I'm sure there must be some online reviews about already, doing that exact comparison - as it's the one people will be wondering about :)

I played with one at an O2 store... did not work with my man-sized hands!

I would also recommend having a look at the HTC Hero (or G2 Touch if you get the T-Mob branded version).

I've had one for a couple of months and I'm very impressed. Worked out a lot cheaper than the I-Phone deals when I got it, and it continues to do well in comparison reviews like the one gadgeman linked to.

SWMBO's waiting on her Samsung Jet to arrive from Tmobile.

If you do play with any touchscreen in store, take the protective film off. SWMBO didnt, and complained of lag until shown the way
