skoda superb 105 BHP service

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

can anyone tell me if i have to reset the service indicator on my superb after an oil change or does it resert when it senses new oil , if so does it have be done via vag or by dashboard clocks.

this is 1st time to service my baby 07 reg as i only bought few months ago. it is on variable servicing so i hope i dont need to go to main dealer to reset.

on my previous car which was a mk 1 octavia it was via dash, but it was on fixed servicing and superb is on variable.

I am going use fully syntetic , any suggestions ???

many thanks

Mickey

Variable servicing needs either VCDS or a trip to the dealers to reset the indicator. (if you reset it via the clock as described in the manual, it goes onto fixed intervals)

Have a look on the VAG-COM owners map for someone near you who can reset it for you.
