my car is currently sitting stripped after swimming pool appeared in my car and front interior lights boot light door lights etc gave up the ghost....is the the sealed ecu box in passager foot well the problem here?...will i have to replace it or is there a fix? have done the drain holes etc...hopeful for help need my car for work 2nite :-(

You need sort out the water coming in (pollen filter) and also dry out that control box.

It's worth getting some switch cleaner so you can clean up the joints and also some silicon grease (not silicone) so you can pack the connectors with this and try and keep water out.

Obviously if you don't have the drain holes clear and the pollen filter well sealed then it's going to happen again.

cheers....drain holes and all sorted...dried all out changed the earth connection for piece of mind and electrics all working fine....
