damp in boot

Featured Replies

Hi, ive recently notice a damp patch in the boot on the netted storage side (opposite side to cd changer) Was wondering if anybody else has had this problem. With the weather only going to get worse i need to sort it quick :) Thanks

Could be the welds on the rain channel or where the boot struts anchor. Sit in the boot with the trim removed and get someone with a hose pipe to start from the lights at the bottom and work your way up slowly till you get a show.

Could also be just the design of the tailgate. It is a stupid design, that when it rains and you open the tailgate, the water runs off the tailgate window down the drain channels and over the edge of the tailgate straight into the boot. Normally the CD changer side and the netting side get this.

Yep could well be the opening of the boot and the water running into the boot or the washer pipe has popped off or split.

washer pipe is on cd side
