I've got an option for a K03 turbo for £100 plus postage.

Considering I'm about to go up to stage2+ is it handy to have one of these kicking around considering the price, or do they not just randomly blow with a decent remap?

ive never heard of a ko3 turbo or k04 turbo failing on a TFSI. If that had of happened rumours would be rife about it. I personnaly wouldnt bother with it, there are always k03 turbos available on the internet for less than 100, and the likes of jKM, awesome, backdraft motorsport, sell the k03 turbos on i think when they do k04 conversions.TFSI engines can be pickedup for quite abit less than £1000 as well
