Skoda Fabia 1.4 8V fuel filter removal

Featured Replies

I have a Skoda Fabia 1.4 8V requires fuel filter change, I have the correct filter with 3 inlets/outlets as original but cannot remove the old one!

I don't want to damage the plastic lugs on pipes I presume there's a special way of removing without damaging any suggestions?

As I remember the connectors should have a "magic" button that you press when taking them out

Each connector will have a 'button' on it (they are usually blue coloured IIRC). Depress the button a couple of millimeters with your thumb nail or a small screwdriver and twist the connect from side to side as you pull it off. They just push back on. You will lose a pint or so of petrol, so have bowl to collect it in.
