Supplier Of Quadlock Pins Wanted...

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm looking for UK suppier of the male pins used in the Quadlock connector that connects to the female version that is part of the standard loom - these are often used to connect an after market HU, CDC or Phone Kit to the OEM loom.

The only reference I can find on the web is from a US based supplier (www.euro-parts.us) - their part number 017-801 - Quadlock CDC-CAN Connector Pins.

Maplin electronics?

Do you mean pins like these?

Thanks, but no - they are just PCB header pins - The ones I'm after are crimped on to the cable and lock into the plastic housing when pushed in.

Having said that, I have thought I may end up having to use that style of PCB pin, solder the cable to it and then expoxy them into the housing!

Have you tried the parts from VRStu's VRS website? where you get the cables from a VW dealer for the old style BT oem car kit. I think they have what you want, just they are all yellow lol.

Thanks but they are the female version - Skoda do not do the male ones as they are built into the headunit.

I wanted some a while back but just soldered direct. Not the best

solution, but it did the job :)

You're welcome. I'd just come across it at about the same time as reading your post so thought it might help
