R32 Dog Bone Mount

Featured Replies

Hi,

I just had my dog bone mount bushes changed for some powerflex ones and I have so much vibration coming through the car. A mechanic recommended that i try the R32 dog bone mount on my 110 tdi diesel. Has anyone hear used these on the MK1 octy (petrol or diesel), and how have they found them?

Thanks.

Superpro offer softer "Diesel" versions, did powerflex not offer the same?

How long have you had the new bushes on for? I have the super pro ones on my vrs, there was a lot of vibration to start with but now they've bedded in, there's no vibration at all

A couple hundred miles so far. Loads of vibration. Want to give it some time to bed in, but not used to the amount of vibration I am getting!

I also have a superpro one on a vRS and after a few miles no vibration.

Did the person who fitted the bushes use the correct torque settings for the mounting? this is very important for the vibration side of things.

Good point, to be honest - I dont know for sure, I guess I would have to have it checked.

Thanks for your input :)
