Tapping Fabia 1 fuse box

Any idea how I can tap a spare fuse on my Fabia Comfort1 tdi estate to power new driving lamps. There are some "unassigned" fuses of the right value. I understand the circuitry to connect the lamps and thought it might be neater to use the box than an inline fuse before the relay. Can't see how to get into the fuse box though. Would also appreciate tips on where to locate the dash switch. (I do know that the lamps need to cut out when heads are dipped but I use narrow low-speed country lanes a lot and don't want to draw the extra power for the lamps when they are not needed). PS just been through the door sealing bit, front and back, and an hacked off that I'm still steaming up!
