http://www.comet.co....-LE26B450C4WXXU -> Got the 32inch version of this for playing games on, and for the 360 in HD, it seems great.

Either of those two if it were my money. I was looking at the weekend for them (went for a 32inch in the end as it was cheaper oddly than the 26inch version of the same model). I went to John Lewis in Wycombe and found them for £300, and with their 5 year cover, but they didn't have them in stock. So went to comet who will price match John Lewis which I didn't expect.

In terms of other people, try http://www.richersou...d-plasma/lcd-tv - a lot cheaper than both JL and comet on some items.

I know what you mean about the 32's they are cheaper with the sale prices, but she won't have a 32 as it's a little big for the corner it's going in :( :(

I'm now thinking if it's got to be a 26 at around £350 this one looks a winner http://www.richersounds.com/product/lcd-tv/panasonic/viera-txl26x10/pana-txl26x10

Agreed, that Panny from RS is perfect. :)

I have the 'old' 37" version of those Samsungs from about 2 yrs ago. Very good TV.

Dixons online have them for very good prices:

Samsung LE26B450 - £289.94

Samsung LE32B450C - £309.94

Inc of VAT; free delivery on both.

John Lewis do the B450 with 5 year warranty for an extra 20 quid or so.

Dixons? John Lewis pricematch, game on!!

Im a self confessed AVaholic and the Panny in the above link was the best I looked at when buying for the kitchen. Had it installed for four weeks now and it is spot on - excellent SD and HD from the Humax freesat box and excellent bluray performance (even though its 'only' 720p) and the best viewing angles of any sets I looked at. Thats price is also £50 less than I paid. ;-)

Hi ya bud We needed a new tv but wanted one of those new samsung LED tvs priced at 1000-1200 from samsung we ended up getting one from Comet auction site for £700 plus 29 delivery and its brilliant . According to the information on the site this tv should have had 6 medium scratches on the side and four long scratches on top .. We thought as its only 2.9mm wide no problem . We got it September and we still cant find any scratches , also ended up getting a samsung fridge/frezer for £200 less as well sp have a bucthers at them .

Or the LG LH4010 which has no link from richer sounds.

I read somewhere that LG's can have either poor veiwing angles, or a poor contrast, so might be worth looking into that. Of course, it could be a load of rubbish, but they do seem quite cheap.

Father in law has an LG 32" in the bedroom. To me, it looks like the colours run into each other no matter what settings I've adjusted on it.
