hello people im pretty new to the skoda i have an octi vrs and am have some power steering problems when i drive in a straight line and move the wheel left too right it jerks like the wheel balancing is out but iv had had the wheels balanced and the bearings changed and it is still hapening , has anyone else had this problem.

yes mate the fluid is fine.

maybe the steering rack bushes are worn

or the front ARB bushes have gone. If your Octi is over 5 yrs old they will probably need replacing - you'll notice an occasional clunk on the drivers side, from the ARB as it twists and knocks the bracket.
