Hi has anyone had problems with water coming up through the floor ?

I lifted the carpet in passenger footwell & sealed around cracked looking rubber bung but have now noticed the carpet in rear passenger footwell is wet

I lifted the carpet in passenger footwell & sealed around cracked looking rubber bung but have now noticed the carpet in rear passenger footwell is wet

Any help gratefully received.

There are some drain holes under the hood/bonnet that get full of dirt and does not alow the water to drain. This cause the water rise to a level were get in the car thoug the polen filter base. This is a fault with Passats, Audi A4 & A3, Skodas and Seats. All part of the Volkswagen Audi Group.

If you make a search you will find many forums that talk about this problem.

Do the rear washers work ok?

The rear washer is working ok, the pipe came off a while ago but I fixed this.
