Anyone know the weight of the FL VRS 18" alloy?

Featured Replies

Thinking of fitting lighter wheels to help with the ride quality. Does anyone know the weight of these or who makes them?

Thanks in advance

Would imagine around 23-25kg per wheel inc tyre.

Why? Are buying some or selling some?

I might actually buy some wheels before it gets delivered and fit a lighter wheel.

poss these

What do we think?

Obviously would sell the 18" wheels that it came on.

Nice wheels.

If you decide to go with them gimme first refusal on your FL vRS 18's

No worries. I ordered the car first week of December so will be some time in March I suppose.

I will see if I can make a decent weight saving before buying them.

Weight of an 18'' Zenith rim is 13.60 kgs.

I'd check if the Pro Race 2 is still available - when I enquired recently I was told they weren't making it anymore, so I went for the 1.2's

Ouch. That is heavy. Thanks for the info

13.6kgs is slightly more than I remember it being. It equates to 30lbs. I seem to remember them being 28.something lbs.

EDIT - Just found an old thread that supports that - 12.7kg / 28.0lbs.

Some BBS / Speedline Audi A4 / A6 19" OEM wheels are over 33lbs. Shame, because they're one of the nicest looking wheels ever. Nearly bought a set for the looks, but the weight put me off.
