Hi,

I've been replacing my head gasket this weekend and all is going well apart from the dipstick holder. The holder came out when we took the head off and we now can't get it back in.

What's the best way to get the holder back in its hole?

136mpi i'm guessing altho the 1.6 will do the same trick..

the tube should be a tight fit but just push in by hand its importent to make sure that the hole it goes into is clean and that nothing has fallen down it.

on the 1.6 the distick tube is secured to the back of the cylinder head by a m8 capscrew too
