hi there allim the owner of a 2006 octavia vrs, the car is a ex west mercia unmarked police car, its is also a cat c insurance write off which is when i bought it and has covered 109k, its moted for 6 months and has no problems to really speek off and id jump in it tomorrow and happily do a big trip in it, but for the life of me i cant sell it!! the cars been on and off ebay and varius other places but it just wont go, im down to under 3k for a 2006 car!!! so ive been told the car maybe worth more in bits?? do any of you think this could be the case, many thanks scott.

its silver mate, ive got about 10 cars at tho mo, it has to go as i need the room really.

i think the police just didnt want to repair it, it was only front end panels, didnt even touch the wings!, but it does state on the logbook it was a write off.

perhaps it was a excuse to reduce fleet/budget costs at time. I got tugged by a plod in a silver one as well, in 2007. wonder ifwas same one lol

think i saw it on ebay..

has it been vic checked or whatever it needs etc or does that still need doing..

if i had the cash i would buy it off ya.. fancy a swap fro a 110 tdi oct :rofl:

its been on there 3 times now, its been vic cheeked and its been on the road for 6 months, if your the same felicia16v thet goes on britsh rally forum its on there for sall mate. ;) how olds your ocy?

it lived around hareford way, had someone get it touch saying it went of the road when they were chasing a drunk driver.

an old one 98, ironically worth around £1400 on ebay still lol, the write off bit does for most folk, doesn't worry me as long as it been repaired ok..

half leather or not?

what spec it it as the police do spec some daft things on them sometimes,

there wasnt much to repair really, front panel, rads, boonet , bumper and airbags, the airbags were more of a pain then anything, whole dash had to be changed! but i know it puts people off, just seems a shame to break a good car!! not to many 2006 cars around for under 3k specialy a vrs!!

the only option i think its got is rear parking sensors.

Its high mileage, its ex Police and its a Cat C, yes it may be an 06 car but thats alot to put people off. I would say break it, engine shound get you around £800?
