Hey all I am currently looking for a new car and was thinking of an Octavia. My question to you all is which model has the best MPG????

The Greenline 1.6 TDi CR has the best quoted combined cycle at 64.2mpg, but I'm not sure I'd buy it. The same engine in an SE/Elegance gives a quoted 62.8mpg so that would be my choice

Edit: download the latest brochure and you can compare figures for all engines across the range

Edit 2: The 1.6TDi CR is a new engine, so if you're looking at second hand then the most economical would be the 1.9TDi at a quoted 57.6mpg.

Here you go, simply click on this link http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Summary.aspx?model=1276 and choose which spec you'd prefer, there are 3 engine sizes 1.6, 1.9 and 2.0 tdi. You can also select Equipment & Options if you want to know how the car comes as standard.
