can someone help me my vrs seems to be hesitating (missing,spultters) when you put your foot down, if you drive in traffic its ok but as soon as you put your foot down it misses a couple of times then it fine until you change gear and it dose the same again,

Coil pack starting to break down.

Plugs may be on the way out, fueling may be out, water temp sensor nacked, boost leek, maf nacked etc, etc, etc.

Mr Method Feeder, fishing are we?

just went out in it again as it stated boosting it now sounds like a machine gun for a few seconds with the engine warning light flashing.

I am willing to go, but "YOUR" too much of a wimp to go in the colder weather.............................LOL

Back to subject, I still think its coil packs.

well done that man you were right it was the coil pack, number 3 must be nackerd as it has now been replaced with a shiney new one,

Happy to help as I had some of these go in the seven years I owned my Mk1 Octy vRS, and yes, in some ways I still miss it, see link!!!!

i see you live very close to me, you might have seen me around ,look out for a yellow vrs with black vrs stickers on the front doors
